You’ll have the chance to explore this historic site, where refreshments can be purchased – a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy the serene surroundings.
After experiencing Frogneseteren, it’s time to take a hike to Holmenkollen. The hike is moderate and usually takes less than an hours, depending on the pace and stops along the way. It's mainly downhill and gravel roads. Along the way, you’ll pass through beautiful Norwegian forests, offering a true escape into nature.
During this walk, your guide will explain how hiking is an integral part of Norwegian culture, a favorite pastime among locals. You'll learn how to feel like a Norwegian by embracing the outdoors, taking in the fresh mountain air, and witnessing some of the best views Oslo has to offer.
The journey culminates at Holmenkollen, Norway’s famous ski jump arena. Here, you have several options:
From Holmenkollen, you can either choose to continue exploring on your own, or hop back on the metro with your guide, returning to the city center.
If you have an Oslo Pass, both the Holmenkollen Museum entrance and the subway ride are included for free.
