1. What is Keyguides?

Keyguides is a premier provider of private guided tours, offering personalized and exclusive experiences in Oslo and Bergen. Our tours are meticulously designed to cater to the unique interests and preferences of our guests, ensuring a memorable and enriching experience.


2. What types of tours does Keyguides offer?

We offer a wide range of tours, including cultural, historical, adventure, and culinary experiences. Each tour is tailored to provide an in-depth exploration of the destination, guided by our knowledgeable and passionate experts.


Pricing

Walking Tour Rates:

  • NOK 1250 per hour of guiding.
  • Minimum rate: NOK 3125 (2 hours of guiding)
  • 3 hours: NOK 3750
  • 4 hours: NOK 5000
  • 6 hours: NOK 7500


Guided Car Tour Rates:

  • NOK 2500 per hour.
  • Minimum rate: NOK 7500 (3 hours)
  • 4 hours: NOK 10000
  • 6 hours: NOK 12500


Customized Tours:

For customized tours, there is a service fee of NOK 1000 per tour per day to cover our assistance in planning, reservations, or acquiring tickets etc.



Booking

3. How do I book a tour with Keyguides?

Booking a tour with Keyguides is simple. You can visit our website, browse the available tours, and select the one that best fits your interests.


Alternatively, you can contact our guest relations team via Email and we will get back to you as soon as we can.


4. How far in advance should I book my tour?

We recommend booking your tour at least 30 days in advance to ensure availability and allow us ample time to tailor the experience to your preferences. However, we can accommodate last-minute bookings based on availability.


Payment

5. What payment methods do you accept?

We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), PayPal, and bank transfers.


All payments are processed securely to protect your information.


Tour Details

7. Are the tours customizable?

Absolutely! Our tours are highly customizable to meet your specific interests and preferences. Whether you're interested in history, cuisine, nature, or adventure, we will tailor the itinerary to ensure a personalized experience.


8. How long do the tours typically last?

The duration of our tours varies depending on the type and complexity of the experience. We offer from two-hours to half-day, full-day, and multi-day tours. The specific duration will be detailed in the tour description and personalized itinerary.


9. Are meals included in the tour?

Meals may be included depending on the tour you select. Detailed information about meal inclusions will be provided in the tour description and your personalized itinerary.


Cancellation Policy

10. What is your cancellation policy?

At Keyguides, we aim to be as flexible as possible. Our cancellation policy is as follows:


  • Cancellation more than 14 days before the tour: Full refund minus a 5% administrative fee.


  • Cancellation between 14 and 7 days before the tour: 50% refund of the total booking amount.


  • Cancellation less than 7 days before the tour: No refund will be provided.


11. What happens if Keyguides cancels the tour?

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a tour, you will be offered the following options:


  • A full refund of the booking amount.


  • Rescheduling the tour to another available date at no additional cost.


No-Show and Weather Policy

12. What is your no-show policy?

If you do not show up at the agreed meeting point within 30 minutes of the scheduled start time, the tour will be considered canceled, and no refund will be issued.


13. What happens if there is bad weather?

Our tours are conducted rain or shine. In case of extreme weather conditions that may affect the safety of the tour, we will offer the following options:


  • Rescheduling the tour to another available date.


  • Full refund if rescheduling is not possible.


Changes to Booking

14. Can I change the date or time of my tour?

Yes, you can request changes to the date or time of your tour up to 7 days before the tour date without any additional cost, subject to availability.


Changes requested less than 7 days before the tour may incur additional fees and are subject to availability.
